Recreational Program Coordinator, Grassroots (Summer 2026)

Hours: 20–30 Hours per Week

Position Overview

Cambridge United Soccer Club is seeking a Recreational Program Coordinator, Grassroots to support the delivery of our U4–U6 Grassroots programs and Sunday Recreational Development Sessions for U7–U11 players throughout the summer.

This position is ideal for a post-secondary student with coaching experience who is looking to gain hands-on experience in program delivery, session planning, and sport administration within a club environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Modify and support weekly session plans for 10-week Grassroots programs
• Communicate program information and resources to staff and volunteers
• Attend and oversee multiple program locations throughout the week
• Manage staff absences and coordinate replacement coverage when needed
• Lead Sunday Recreational Development sessions from June through August
• Develop and manage staffing schedules for Sunday programming
• Support the overall quality and consistency of program delivery

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have a background in playing or coaching soccer
• Have experience working within a technical curriculum
• Demonstrate strong session planning and organizational skills
• Communicate effectively with children, volunteers, and staff
• Have strong time management skills
• Work well as part of a team

Eligibility: Applicants must be returning to an accredited post-secondary institution in Fall 2026 to be eligible.
