Cambridge Women battle through the heat to scoreless draw at Tecumseh

TECUMSEH, ON – Cambridge United (W) ground out a hard-earned point on the road Saturday night, battling to a 0-0 draw against Tecumseh United FC. Despite a grueling road trip, the heat, and intense late pressure from the hosts, Cambridge's defensive discipline held firm to secure a clean sheet at the Libro Credit Union Centre.
Despite the heat, both sides brought intensity and a lot of physicality. While Cambridge found chances hard to come by, their organized defensive block and high line frustrated Tecumseh for the duration of the 90 minutes. The home side pushed aggressively in the final stages of the match, hitting the goalpost twice in the final ten minutes, but Cambridge weathered the storm to head back home with a well-deserved point.
