CAMBRIDGE, ON – Cambridge United (W) delivered a clinical performance on Sunday night, defeating Oakville SC 2-0 at Fountain Street Soccer Complex.
Coming into the match looking to solidify their position in the regular season table, Cambridge United established their dominance early in the first half. Backed by a sturdy defensive core that completely shut out Oakville's attack, the hosts found the breakthrough in the opening fifteen minutes. Tactical adjustments right before halftime paid massive dividends, as an early substitute scored just minutes after the second-half restart. A flurry of strategic second-half substitutions allowed Cambridge to comfortably manage the clock and protect their clean sheet until the final whistle.

Second Half
The second half opened with immediate action involving Cambridge's early substitute. Anastasia Kraja picked up a quick yellow card in the 47th minute. Just seven minutes later, in the 54th minute, Kraja stepped up to confidently convert a penalty that extended the Cambridge lead to 2-0.
